Hackett

Hackett was founded back in 1979 when Jeremy Hackett started sourcing unique pieces of English clothing from flea markets in Portobello. From here, he went on to open his first store which had instantaneous success. Unable to keep up with demand, Hackett opened a store next door and manufactured new pieces that emulated the classic designs from the flee market and with that, Hackett was born. Hackett has grown to sit at the forefront of traditionally British tailored menswear, now with over 150 stores in more than 30 countries. Blake Made was originally appointed to design and produce their e-commerce shipping boxes using FSC certified paper. The e-commerce packaging was designed with specific features to improve the performance and usability. Anti-crushing tabs were added to the flap to improve strength and prevent damage and crushing when boxes are stacked. In addition, dual seal closures were improved to ensure that the boxes can be resealed and returned with ease to improve the customer journey when returning product. This also means that the customer doesn’t have to add plastic tape when resealing the box to ensure the box remains 100% recyclable.
